YOU DON’T HAVE TO BE A FRIEND OF DOROTHY TO BE A FRIEND OF IRIS!

The Friends of Iris are an important part of the Iris Prize Festival. The members of the scheme offer over 100 bed nights each year to our visiting film makers and jury members, and support with our marketing activity, press work and guest liaison. In a nutshell the Friends of Iris have helped to make Iris a huge success.

To become a Friend of Iris you need to be able to offer hosted accommodation to visiting filmmakers during the week of the festival in Cardiff.

If you are a Friend of Iris:

You will receive an Iris membership which will be valid for 1 year – giving you priority access to buy festival passes and tickets + some amazing discounts in Cardiff.

If you can host a visiting filmmaker this year, please contact grant@irisprize.org

IRIS SHORT FILM PATRONS

To help ensure Iris can continue to offer winning film makers the opportunity to make a new short film we have established the Iris Prize Short Film Fund. Members who are willing to donate at least £150 to the Iris Prize Short Film Fund will receive all of the benefits of being a Friend of Iris, as well as seeing their donation put to good use in supporting the Iris Prize itself. Iris Short Film Patrons will also receive an on-screen credit on the Iris short produced in the year of their donation.
