Weekend is the story of Russell and Glen, two men who meet in a nightclub on a Friday night. Their weekend together takes them from bar to bedroom, getting drunk, taking drugs, telling stories and having sex.

It’s a film that captures all the intimacy and emotional resonance of a brief fling, and back in 2011 it was a surprise hit in cinemas worldwide.

The Iris Prize and Peccadillo Pictures are showing Weekend at this year’s festival to celebrate its 10^th anniversary.
