Mascarpone
Antonio is a 30-year-old family man, whose life takes an unexpected turn when he's dumped by his husband, on whom he depends both psychologically and economically. He needs to find a new place to stay, a new job and a new purpose in life. He soon finds an apartment and starts to work in a bakery owned by Luca, while attending pastry school, and begins to enjoy his newfound independence.

Matteo Pilati was born on in Bologna (Italy). He graduated in 2010 at Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia – Scuola Nazionale di Cinema in Milan and worked as a commissioning editor for global media companies for 9 years. In 2020 he wrote, produced and directed his first film, “Mascarpone” (“Maschile Singolare“), which was first released as an Amazon Prime Video Exclusive on June 4th in Italy.
