Being part of the pink portraits was an amazing experience I got out of my “say yes year”. It was incredible for two reasons, first because as bisexual people, we are often considered “not queer” enough to be part of projects like this, so to have this kind of visibility is important. On a more personal level, as a carer to my mother who has cancer, it allowed me to focus on myself for a bit and reconnect with my creative and artistic side.
Pink Portraits Revisited is produced by the Iris Prize and supported by Cardiff University, University of South Wales and Ffotogallery.
