British-Moroccan Director and winner of the 2023 Iris Prize Best British Short

Sara Harrak’s short film, F**KED  won the Best British Short at Iris Prize 2023, and Best Short Film at Roze Filmdagen. F**KED has since been recognised by the British Film Council and has been featured in their catalogue of UK shorts and new talent. F**KED screened at Bafta and Bifa festivals such as Leeds and had its international premiere at Flickerfest Film Festival in Sydney, which is academy award qualifying. F**KED is now in early development with Wild Mercury for a TV series.  Sara was selected by M&Ms film festival to produce and direct a trailer in 72 hours, based on her original idea Solers United. She is now shooting her new queer comedy short film, Solers United, with executive producer Dame Kelly Holmes and Jaquie Lawerence, and also developing it into a TV series.

Ers hynny mae F**KED wedi cael ei chydnabod gan y Cyngor Ffilmiau Prydeinig ac mae wedi cael sylw yn eu catalog o ffilmiau byrion a thalent newydd y DU. Dangoswyd F**KED yng ngwyliau Bafta a Bifa, megis Leeds, a chafodd ei dangsiad cyntaf rhyngwladol yng Ngŵyl Ffilm Flickerfest yn Sydney, sy’n gymwys ar gyfer gwobr yr academi. Mae F **KED bellach yn cael ei datblygu’n gynnar gyda Wild Mercury ar gyfer cyfres deledu. Cafodd Sara ei dewis gan ŵyl ffilm M&Ms i gynhyrchu a chyfarwyddo trelar mewn 72 awr, yn seiliedig ar ei syniad gwreiddiol Solers United. Mae hi bellach yn saethu ei ffilm fer gomedi queer newydd, Solers United, gyda’r cynhyrchydd gweithredol y Fonesig Kelly Holmes a Jaquie Lawerence, a hefyd yn ei datblygu’n gyfres deledu.
