The race is on to secure your Life of Riley tickets.

Retired Olympian Dame Kelly Holmes will be joining us next week at Iris!

- From Double Gold to Double Act
Dame Kelly Holmes will attend our Life of Riley screening and take part in a post screening Q & A with the 'Head Lesbian' herself, Linda Riley.
"I'm very excited to be attending the Iris Prize Film Festival and to be part of the screening and Q&A for 'The Life of Riley.' As I delve deeper into the world of broadcast television and film production, I'm fascinated by the different production processes. I recognise that Iris is a vibrant hub of creative talent and innovative ideas, and I can't wait to be involved”. - Dame Kelly Holmes
Dame Kelly, whose own award-winning documentary Kelly Holmes: Being Me revealed her emotional journey as a gay woman, credits Linda with providing a support system when she came out. Forging a successful career in film and television, she is a regular Loose Women presenter and is developing content for various producers and broadcasters. She is also the Executive Producer for Iris award-winner Sara Harrak's new short film, Solers United.
Make sure to check out the post-screening Q&A, as Dame Kelly and Linda discuss what it’s like to be the focus of such intimate and unfiltered all-access documentaries. Life of Riley director, Jacquie Lawrence, is thrilled that Dame Kelly will be onstage with Linda. She says, "they are the ultimate double act who have lived very different lives but connect with each other in a profound and comedic way."
Festival Director Berwyn Rowlands has been absolutely ecstatic since the announcement: "Interviewing Linda Riley live on stage was already one of my festival highlights for this year. We've got to know each other over the years, and I always enjoy our breakfast meetings at the Ivy in London. Now that Dame Kelly Homes is joining us, I must be honest, I'm a little nervous, especially after seeing her present on Loose Women. I need to remind myself that all I need to do is ask the questions, the audience only want to hear from these two amazing women, I plan to sit back and let both of them take over."
