Best of Iris 2019
Iris Prize LGBT+ Film Festival brings a diverse programme of LGBT+ films to Cardiff every year, showcasing talent and stories from around the world. These 3 award-winning short films from the 2019 festival feature the very best modern LGBT+ filmmaking, taking us from a Hasidic Jewish community in LA, to a magical tale set in a run-down Cornish village, via the well-trodden streets of Brooklyn, New York.
The screening will be followed by a Q&A with Alfie Dale, director of the 2019 Best British Short winning film My Brother is a Mermaid, and a performance from the film’s lead Cameron Maydale.
