Eleanor is a writer/director based in Glasgow, Scotland.

Short film Glue was nominated for Best of British at Queer Vision Festival in association with Iris Prize and Encounters. Micro shorts Preservation and Rising Tides jointly won Best Story at the 1.5 Degree Film Access Scotland awards.

Eleanor is a member of programmes including Edinburgh International Film Festival Script Starter, EIFF Talent Lab, BFI Network Weekender, and the Glasgow Film Festival New Talent Mentorship Scheme with ScreenSkills, mentored by filmmaker Siri Rødnes. Feature film script, Receipts, has been shortlisted for the Sundance Writers Lab.

Latest short film Bookmarks was supported by a bursary awarded by Glasgow Media Access Centre (GMAC), a “Tiny Little Picture”.

Eleanor has a background in theatre, and experience of working in LGBTQ+ equalities in University and heritage settings. Eleanor holds an MLitt in Film and Television Studies from the University of Glasgow.
