Cardiff University’s Iris Prize Youth Award

See the 4 short films selected by young people for this year's youth award

Cardiff University’s Iris Prize Youth Award is awarded to a film from this year’s shortlists which is suitable for younger viewers. The shortlist was chosen by the youth preselection panel of representatives from Youth Cymru, RCT Youth, Newport Youth, Cardiff University and Treorchy Comprehensive. 

The winning film will then be voted for by young people attending this year’s Iris Prize Education Day on Friday 11 October and Pride Cymru’s Youth Festival, which takes place on Saturday 12 October. 

The films competing for the 2019 Cardiff University Iris Prize Youth Award are:
