Sometimes all it takes is one person who can put everything to right - or turn your life upside down

It isn’t always romantic relationships that shape us, and friendships can sometimes develop into something more. The four films in this programme look at brief encounters and moments of friendship and intimacy in very different settings, from a stylised, surrealistic China in the recent past to rural India and present day Bosnia.
