Fluorescent Adolescent
Set in 1987, against the backdrop of the AIDS crisis, this is the story of bored teenager Brittany, whose life is enlivened when she meets out and proud Faras, and the two bond over a love of music and their experience of being outsiders among their clique of friends.

Charlie Sharp is a director and filmmaker from Nottingham. They have made several short film projects during his time at college and went on to direct 2 short films, on the BFI Academy Short Course, and the BFI NFTS residential course, where they directed Fluorescent Adolescent.
