Mae Marungka Tjalatjunu (Dipped in Black) yn dilyn taith ffordd dyn Yankunytjatjara Derik Lynch yn ôl i Wlad er mwyn iacháu ysbrydol, wrth i atgofion o’i blentyndod ddychwelyd. Taith o ormes bywyd y ddinas wen yn Adelaide, yn ôl adref i’w Gymuned Anangu anghysbell (Aputula) i berfformio ar dir cysegredig Inma.
Derik Lynch is an initiated Yankunytjatjara man. He is a performer, filmmaker, and artist who grew up between Alice Springs and remote Communities in the Northern Territory and South Australia. He has worked both nationally and internationally in theatre, film and TV including performances at the Sydney Opera House (AUS) and Southbank Theatre (UK).
Mae Derik Lynch yn ddyn Yankunytjatjara. Mae’n berfformiwr, gwneuthurwr ffilmiau ac artist a fagwyd rhwng Alice Springs a chymunedau anghysbell yn Nhiriogaeth y Gogledd a De Awstralia. Mae wedi gweithio’n genedlaethol ac yn rhyngwladol mewn theatr, ffilm a theledu gan gynnwys perfformiadau yn y Sydney Opera House (AUS) a Southbank Theatre (DU).
Matthew Thorne is a South Australian filmmaker and artist whose work uses film, photography, and re-enactment to explore contemporary ‘Australian’ identity, spirituality, relationship to land, and masculinity. Matthew contributed photography to Nick Cave and The Bad Seed’s album Ghosteen (2019), Justin Kurzel’s True History of the Kelly Gang (2019), and Ridley Scott’s Alien: Covenant.
