Naomi Cubero is an NYC based filmmaker whose work focuses on intimate, women led, queer stories. She is a 2020 graduate of NYU Tisch with a major in Film and Television and minors in Game Design and Computer Programming. Her short film, “Goyishe,” premiered at NFFTY and screened with New Faces New Voices. Her latest film, “Perennial,” premiered at Outfest and is currently screening on Short of the Week. Outside of her creative work, Naomi is also a Location Assistant and Location Coordinator with Teamsters Local 817. In her limited free time, she enjoys experimenting with guitar pedals, eating at vegan restaurants, and finding new local bands.
