Llandudno Junction 2019

The Iris Prize Winners 2018 in conversation and the Iris Education and Community Awards

Join us to close Iris on the Move: Llandudno Junction with an evening of celebration

120 mins

Join us to close Iris on the Move: Llandudno Junction with an evening of celebration, including screenings of Beyond ‘There’s always a black issue Dear’, Best British winner at the 2018 Iris Prize Festival, and Three Centimetres, winner of the 2018 Iris Prize. We’ll also be joined in conversation by directors Claire Lawrie and Lara Zeidan to uncover the creative forces behind these outstanding films and see what the future holds.

A highlight of the Iris year, the Education & Community Short Film Awards honour the best productions created with schools, organisations and workplaces around Wales. The winning short films will be selected from the shortlists by an esteemed team of jurors. One outstanding Outreach-participating organisation will also be awarded the 2019 Iris Leadership Award, in recognition of their efforts to champion the rights on the LGBT+ community.
