Lindsay Robinson

2023 Iris Prize Jury

Lindsay Robinson has worked at Co-op for over 20 years and is currently a Store Manager. For the past two years Lindsay also been heavily involved in the Respect LGBTQ+ colleague network within the business, as one of the colleagues leading on the comms, engagement and events. As part of this role Lindsay works very closely with the Iris Prize Film Festival, to support the delivery of the event. Lindsay has really enjoyed this partnership as it celebrates diversity and inclusion, whilst putting a positive spotlight on the community, which are both really important to them. The festival is also a vehicle for encouraging everyone to be themselves, which is an important value not just to Lindsay, but to Co-op as well. Lindsay can see what a difference the two organisations are making to the LGBTQ+ community, and is really proud and privileged to be part of this journey.

Mae Lindsay Robinson wedi gweithio i’r Co-op ers dros 20 mlynedd ac yn Rheolwr Siop ar hyn o bryd. Am y ddwy flynedd ddiwethaf mae hefyd wedi bod yn ymwneud yn helaeth â rhwydwaith cydweithwyr Respect LGBTQ+ o fewn y busnes, lle mae’n un o’r cydweithwyr sy’n arwain ar gyfathrebu, ymgysylltu a digwyddiadau. Fel rhan o’r rôl hon mae’n gweithio’n agos iawn gyda Gŵyl Ffilm Gwobr Iris, i gefnogi cyflwyno’r digwyddiad. Mae Lindsey wedi mwynhau’r bartneriaeth hon yn fawr gan ei bod yn dathlu amrywiaeth a chynhwysiant, tra’n rhoi sylw cadarnhaol i’r gymuned, sydd ill dau yn bwysig iawn. Mae’r ŵyl hefyd yn gyfrwng i annog pawb i fod yn nhw eu hunain, sy’n werth pwysig nid yn unig i Lindsey, ond i’r Co-op hefyd. Mae Lindsey yn gallu gweld pa wahaniaeth y mae’r ddau sefydliad yn eu gwneud i’r gymuned LHDTQ+, ac mae’n falch iawn ac yn freintiedig i fod yn rhan o’r daith hon.
