Mathew David is a Cardiff-born writer, casting director, and BAFTA-nominated producer for the Iris Prize, with over a decade of experience in performance, production, and community engagement across the Welsh creative industries. He has served as Jury Coordinator for the Iris Prize for the past 10 years, playing a key role in its development as an internationally respected platform for LGBTQ+ film. His work has been commissioned by BBC and Ffilm Cymru, with credits broadcast on BBC One, BBC Three, and Channel 4. Mathew was also named one of Wales Online’s Most Influential LGBTQ+ Figures.
