Director’s bio

Jasper De Maeseneer(He/Him/His) (born 2001) is a director and writer from Belgium. Coming from acting, he joined the film directing track at the Royal Institute for Theatre, Cinema and Sound in Brussels. His work explores themes of neurodiversity, sexuality, and identity—emphasizing the emotional impact of societal labels. In 2025, he obtained a master’s degree with his graduation film Shutterspeed.
