Inspired by the wonderful work at Chapter with their dementia friendly screenings, Iris began to consider how dementia is affecting the LGBTQ+ community.

This session will cover what research is being done into dementia and address the unique issues that an LGBTQ+ individual with dementia may encounter. We will have speakers from Chapter and researchers at Cardiff University, which contains one of the world’s leading institutes for research into dementia, The UK Dementia Research Institute.
