Join us to close Iris on the Move: North Wales with an evening of celebration, including a chance to see My Brother is a Mermaid, winner of Best British Short at Iris Prize LGBT+ Film Festival 2019. We’ll also be joined in conversation by director, Alfie Dale, plus the film’s star Cameron Maydale will be performing live.

A highlight of the Iris year, the Community, Education and Micro Film Awards honour the best LGBT+ productions made by schools, community groups and young people, as well as stories told in under one minute. For the first time the awards are open to the whole of the UK, and the winning short films will be selected from the shortlists by an esteemed team of jurors.
