The Iris Prize Fellowship is presented in recognition of individuals who have made a significant and lasting contribution to the UK film industry, with a particular emphasis on championing LGBTQ+ stories and voices. This award exists to celebrate these unsung heroes of the film industry; shining a spotlight on extraordinary people whose passion, dedication, and tenacity may not always be acknowledged by the traditional award ceremonies.
The third Iris Prize Fellowship is presented to Paul Smith. Previous recipients are Tom Abell and Jacquie Lawrence, whose work has helped shape and champion LGBTQ+ storytelling on screen.
