IRIS ON CHANNEL4
15 short films nominated for the 2022 Iris Prize Best British award are heading to Channel 4.
The 15 films shortlisted for the Iris Prize Best British award Supported by Film4 presented in three separate programmes, with stories ranging from a teenage footballer coming to terms with his sexuality to a group of Regency-era women gossiping on the street about a notorious gay scandal, and a gay priest’s life-changing encounter with a rent boy, based on a true story.

The first Programme will Broadcast on Channel 4 on Monday 7th November at 02:10 with the following two on the next consecutive nights (Tuesday 8th at 01:15 and Wednesday 9th at 01:05).
All three programmes and all the individual films will go live on the All4 platform right after the first broadcast on
Channel 4 on Monday 7th November.
Tim Highsted, Channel 4, and Chair of the Iris Prize Best British Short jury, said: “This year’s British shorts at Iris once again reveal an array of talented filmmakers – from the joyful and warm winning short, Queer Parivaar, directed by Shiva Raichandani – through to all the films that were shortlisted.”
