PINK PORTRAITS
The short film looks behind the scenes as photographer Siria Ferrer captures portraits of some of the LGBTQ+ individuals bringing some of the biggest television dramas to our screens with Cardiff-based company Bad Wolf.
Berwyn Rowlands, Iris Prize LGBTQ+ Film Festival Director, said: “The Pink Portraits project allows Iris to work in partnership with organisations who share our values about diversity. During the festival we get a chance to see the new portraits in our festival catalogue, the exhibition in the festival club and on screen with the making of film! “Bad Wolf was a very special partner. They have been supporting our work for years and years. So, working with them during their 10th anniversary year was a joy.”The Pink Portraits 2025 is a project showcasing images of LGBTQ+ professionals who have worked on Bad Wolf productions since 2017. Crew members were asked to come forward and those who did were brought together for ad hoc group shots and individual portraits at Wolf Studios Wales.

The work of Iris continues to inspire and together, we’re championing authentic representation and celebrating the diversity of LGBTQ+ lives.”Taken by South Wales-based photographer Siria Ferrer, this year’s iteration of the project is celebrating the 10th anniversary of Bad Wolf. The exhibition contains ten selected photos displayed in the Iris Prize bar for the duration of the festival, and you can find the full extended collection on the Iris Prize website.

Mae'r ffilm fer yn edrych y tu ôl i'r llenni wrth i'r ffotograffydd Siria Ferrer dynnu portreadau o rai o'r unigolion LHDTQ+ gan ddod â rhai o'r dramâu teledu mwyaf i'n sgriniau gyda'r cwmni cynhyrchu o Gaerdydd, Bad Wolf.
Dywedodd Berwyn Rowlands, Cyfarwyddwr Gŵyl Ffilm LHDTQ+ Gwobr Iris: “Mae prosiect Portreadau Pinc yn caniatáu i Iris weithio mewn partneriaeth â mudiadau sy’n rhannu ein gwerthoedd am amrywiaeth. Yn ystod yr ŵyl cawn gyfle i weld y portreadau newydd yn ein catalog gŵyl, yr arddangosfa yng nghlwb yr ŵyl ac ar y sgrin gyda ffilm fer am dynnu’r lluniau! “Roedd Bad Wolf yn bartner arbennig iawn. Maen nhw wedi bod yn cefnogi ein gwaith ers blynyddoedd a blynyddoedd. Felly, roedd gweithio gyda nhw yn ystod eu 10fed pen-blwydd yn bleser.”Mae Portreadau Pinc 2025 yn brosiect sy'n arddangos delweddau o weithwyr proffesiynol LHDTQ+ sydd wedi gweithio ar gynyrchiadau Bad Wolf ers 2017. Gofynnwyd i aelodau'r criw ddod ymlaen a daethpwyd â'r rhai a wnaeth ynghyd ar gyfer lluniau grŵp ad hoc a phortreadau unigol yn Stiwdios Wolf Cymru.
Dywedodd Jane Tranter, Prif Swyddog Gweithredol a Chyd-sylfaenydd Bad Wolf: “Wrth i Bad Wolf ddathlu ei ben-blwydd yn ddeng mlwydd oed, mae partneru â Gwobr Iris ar Bortreadau Pinc o rai o’n staff a’n haid o fleiddiaid yn tynnu sylw at ein gwerthoedd craidd. Mae cynhwysiant wrth wraidd popeth a wnawn - o flaen a thu ôl i’r camera. Mae gwaith Iris yn parhau i ysbrydoli a gyda’n gilydd, rydym yn hyrwyddo cynrychiolaeth ddilys ac yn dathlu amrywiaeth bywydau LHDTQ+.”Wedi'u tynnu gan y ffotograffydd Siria Ferrer o Dde Cymru, mae fersiwn eleni o'r prosiect yn dathlu 10fed pen-blwydd Bad Wolf. Mae'r arddangosfa'n cynnwys deg llun dethol a ddangosir ym mar Gwobr Iris am hyd yr ŵyl, a gallwch ddod o hyd i'r casgliad estynedig llawn ar wefan Gwobr Iris.
